SystemDate() or Today()

As an Axapta developer, sometimes may feel confused about SystemDate() and Today(). Do they function identically? The answer is NO!
Systemdate is the date a user can manually change in menu Tools-> Systemdate. There, the machine date is shown and the user has the possibility to change the system date. This date is local for the session, so no other users and axapta object server will be affected by that and when logging out and in again. As a general rule in programming, it is recommended to use Systemdate(). If you are aware that you have to use the machine date, then use Today().
